The industrial pallet has similar dimensions to the standard Europool pallet (Euro pallet type EUR). The main difference lies in the width. While the Euro pallet type EUR measures 1200 x 800 mm, the industrial pallet measures 1200 x 1000 mm.
Industrial pallets are standardized by the European Pallet Association (EPAL) as Euro-Pallet Type 2 and Euro-Pallet Type 3.
Technical Specifications of the Industrial Pallet
The Euro Pallet Type 2 is based on the following technical specifications:
- Dimensions: 1200 x 1000 x 144 mm
- Net weight: 31 kg
- Load capacity: 1250–1500 kg dynamic load, 3000–4000 kg static load
The Euro Pallet Type 3 is based on the following technical specifications:
- Dimensions: 1200 x 1000 x 144 mm
- Net weight: 35 kg
- Load capacity: 1250–1500 kg dynamic load, 3000–4000 kg static load
For industrial pallets, the load capacity, height, and—to a lesser extent—the weight can be customized. For the base boards, cross boards, and deck boards, materials such as pine, hardwood, or softwood can be used.
