With our IT specialist apprenticeship program, TUP offers you the opportunity to work in IT without having to pursue a college degree. In recent years, our apprentices have consistently achieved top grades on their final projects, and throughout their training, they already contribute to challenging projects. Immediately after completing your apprenticeship, you’ll become a full-fledged member of the project team.
Your job profile:
The responsibilities of an IT specialist in application development are diverse. Since every project is unique, new solutions must constantly be devised. You’ll learn various programming languages, database systems, and operating systems, and you’ll always stay up to date with the latest technological advancements. Teamwork is a top priority for us. Together with your colleagues, you’ll develop and bring creative new ideas to life.
Your tasks in detail:
- Design and implementation of software applications
- Improve existing applications
- Test and document new applications
- Presenting applications to stakeholder and project managers
- Applying methods of project planning, execution and controlling
- Application of software development tools
- Development of application-oriented and intuitive user interfaces
- Troubleshooting through the use of expert and diagnostic systems
