Picking times – picking time

The picking time, also known as removal time or pick time, is the time it takes to remove an item from the shelf and place it in the appropriate container.

The picking time depends on:

• picking height and depth,
• weight per pick,
• volume per pick,
• sensitivity of the article procurement,
• type of delivery.
