We are growing and are looking for Java developers to join us in expanding and strengthening our project teams. We are an internationally active family business specializing in software for controlling and planning intralogistics processes. We optimize the often highly automated logistics in large warehouses and distribution centers through our customized solutions. For this purpose, we develop warehouse management systems for our customers from industry, retail/e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, the automotive sector as well as aviation.

Some of our project partners are Otto Group, Zalando, Canyon, Adidas, Bosch, Subaru, TUIfly, GLS Logistik, and Pfizer. As a company active in research and academic teaching, our goal is to actively shape topics such as artificial intelligence and analytics, which will give you exciting insights into two fast-growing sectors of the economy.

Your tasks

As a developer, you will work closely with your respective project teams in these fields:

  • Development and maintenance of the in-house warehouse management system
  • Exciting and varied tasks throughout the software development process – from individual requirements analysis, to conceptual design, to implementation and integration at the client
  • Development of individual software modules tailored to the customer
  • Cross-project deployment based on accumulated expertise is possible and desired
  • Individual, challenging tasks with room for creativity and personal development

Your skills

  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of computer science, applied computer science, media or business informatics or another computer science-oriented degree program
  • Practical experience and in-depth knowledge of Java backend development as well as databases (Oracle, SQL)
  • No reservations about complex industrial process flows
  • Open-minded for new technologies around interdisciplinary software development
  • We rely on your ability to work well in small teams
  • High sense of responsibility, strategic thinking and good communication skills complete your personal profile
