Based on the AMOS platform, TUP developed the Mobile Aviation System TUP.MAS in collaboration with Swiss-AS, officially listed as the “Mobile Device System” (MDS) in the AMOS product portfolio. As a solution for putaway and retrieval, order picking, and inventory counting, it integrates mobile Android devices—handhelds, MDEs, or standard smartphones—into warehouse processes at airports. It enables airlines and MRO service providers to manage spare parts more flexibly using digital technology, including mobile inventory counting. The system has been continuously developed since 2013 and is scalable for both small fleets and large airlines.

Since 2020, TUP.MAS/MDS has also covered tool management, ensuring that all tools used in the hangar are fully returned to storage after maintenance for safety reasons. In addition, the spare parts picking process has been made significantly more efficient through multi-order picking. The system supports seamless tracking of parts retrieved from the warehouse as part of spare parts orders all the way to the hangar, similar to package tracking in the B2C sector.
